Jaime Becerril Oriol
Jaime Becerril Oriol is a Partner and Co-Founder of Stinger Capital, where he oversees business strategy, investor relations, and business development. He has more than 20 years of experience in financial markets, having advised and invested alongside some of the world's largest institutional and private investors.
Jaime began his career at PwC before moving to London in 2006 to work as a research analyst at Redburn when it was an emerging independent research house and later at JP Morgan, covering European Financials during the Global Financial Crisis and Sovereign Debt turmoil that almost bankrupted the system. Those events (GFC in particular) eventually led to the rise of Europe's direct lending industry where Stinger is now operating.
After leaving JPM, Jaime founded Ayax Capital to invest and advise investors in private equity and venture capital projects across different sectors and geographies, before joining Enrique to build Stinger in 2025.
Jaime holds a B.A. from Universidad Carlos III and WHU Otto-Beisheim Hochschule in Germany.
